There’s a new estate agent but crucially they’re not on the block. Primemove was founded by Raymond Baxter and trading began for the fixed fee estate agent on July 1st. There’s no shop front though, it’s online only.
Baxter recognises that the role of the estate agent is changing along with the modern habits of buyers – most of whom now search online. Motivated by changing buyer habits Primemove’s founder chose to set up as an online portal, dispensing with the expense of a high street office to cut overheads. Through their online portal they offer upfront fees and traditional estate agent services across the West of Scotland.
Already the company pride themselves on their professionalism and are proud to be accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, unusual for an estate agent.
A key objective for the business is to get clients the best price for their property and to this end they advertise properties across the two biggest online portals, Rightmove and Zoopla.
