Fife Business Week is approaching

November is fast approaching and with it the sixth Fife Business Week. We are looking forward to a full week of events dedicated to local business issues between November 9th and 13th.

Hosted by the Fife Economy Partnership the week long programme includes more than thirty events, many of them free and all of them bookable in advance. Each one draws on the valuable resources of our local business community, offers an opportunity to enrich your knowledge, and your local network.

Key issues of strategy, business finance, employability and training will be addressed alongside topical issues of tourism and social media use.

Events have been designed to promote opportunities for companies within all sectors, and of all sizes, and we expect the knowledge sharing will be very useful once again this year.

Our own employment lawyer Julie Sullivan will address ‘How to survive social media – the legals you need to know’ on Monday, 9th at our offices on George Square from 9 am – 10:30 am. She will provide risk management tips to ensure you have a staff policy to suit the modern age which complies with employment law.

Later in the week on Wednesday 11th November 2pm- 3.30pm she will address ‘How to navigate self-employed contractors’ Her talk will highlight issues to be aware of when using self-employed contractors and we are offering a free 20 minute consultation of an existing contract to the first four bookings.
